Hey guys so i just bought a 1988 s10. i was looking at the frame and it says “SS” on it. There’s no way they made the SS earlier then 1994?? maybe you guys could help me out?

Post a pic. Probably an ID tag so the assembly line workers grabbed the right one. In that era GM was afraid to whisper SS for fear EPA might hear about it.
Now adays you have to figure out the difference between a 1SS, a 2SS, a 1LT and a 2LT, etc. Far as I'm concerned, shut up and give me a ZL1.
