I need some help please.I tried replacing the Throttle Position Sensor on a 1987 2.5 s-10 and now the engine light is on coding a 22 which is that sensor code.It wasn't coding the sensor until i changed it.Reason i changed it was the engine would sometimes idle high then low and i was told that is what t was.I had never changed one before and i think i messed up when changing it.I pushed the throttle cable all the way up then let it fall back until the sensor popped into place.I have since realized that was a mistake.I figured out u only have to push it a little bit for it to lock into place.I also unhooked the battery trying to reset the computer and it didn't help.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
