$800 for nearly zero gain on a2.8? Ouch. Aren’t you going to replace the motor with an LS anyway? Didn’t you want true duals? The ones you bought have a crossover for single exhaust, and no bung for O2 sensor if you have one. If you do, don’t expect the computer to be happy without it.

I didn’t pay $800 lol and I can do single in dual out or not use the Y pipe. And if it needs an 02 bung I will handle it or switch to carb.

Good to hear. Hooked up to 2.5 dia. dual pipe setup w/DynoMax muffs will give best HP and sound, too.
I didn’t pay $800 lol and I can do single in dual out or not use the Y pipe. And if it needs an 02 bung I will handle it or switch to carb.
Sounds Good. You've got your plans down pat. The assumption of many members is that everyone is poverty stricken is incorrect. Dealing with customers , i've found it best to just lay it out and let them decide.
When/if you move on to transplant is a function of your means and no one elses

Ya , use them for quiet cruise- no drone- reasonable cost. Division of Walker Exhaust. Engine Master Show hosts were surprised they showed no HP loss over open exhaust @ WOT in dyno exhaust tests. I also like Flow Master 2.5" mandrel bent tailpipes . Many models fit other apps if a specific isn't made.

MAN....those look NICE!!!

Take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld a bung for the O2 and you are ready to roll!

:Coming from someone with headers, and a nice custom cat back exhaust (Magnaflow converter and Flowmaster 40) , I believe it does have some power increase, but the tone of it the truck is really aggressive. Not too loud or droning either. But when you step on it, it's pleasant to listen to. I like to ride in it without the radio on sometimes just so I can hear the exhaust!

Do I still need the bung if I am going to carburetor?
