Hey Guys; :headbang:
I am looking to restore my 83 s-10 Blazer. I blew the tranny like four years ago and am finally in a position to start restoring it. The tranny is completely gone so I need a new tranny and transfer case (engine is a near new 2.8ltr but has been sitting for years. And just my luck this has to be the only year that they used linkage for clutch actuation (all others have hydraulic actuators) so tranny's for this year are EXTREMELY hard to find. I am willing to any and all suggestions on this one i.e. what kind of conversions (say 4.3l and hydraulic clutch actuation) are available, where can I find a tranny any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cool I now own an 83 S-10 Blazer myself. Now that I replace the valve gaskets and some of the vacuum hoses I find that the oil pan gasket is now gone, and sprays oil out like a drunk sailor with too much whiskey. Brakes dune went south and the way I look at it being a student and a backyard mech. I got my hands full
any one got vacuum line specs?:worship:
