Hello. I’ve built my 151 and I’m very happy with it and I love playing with and doing/trying different things with everything I’m learning. And I’m in process of building a new one with all I know now that I didn’t know then. I’m on a tight budget and can’t afford a 400.00 intake so I port and modify the stock ones and they work pretty good. Maybe after I get this motor built I’ll buy one. So if anyone is planning on running a carburetor and building one on a budget or can’t find a intake this is what u can do. Open up the plenum and have a adapter welded on and gasket Mach and open up the runners all the way up. Also the runners on ether side of the plenum is feed though a small hole so u need to open that up as much as possible but be careful not to cut through into water ports. The intake is at my friends right now having a aluminum Holley open 1” spacer welded to it. If I can find this tread lol I’ll post a picture of it finished

holy cow!!!! you ground the heck out of that thing. I guess you couldn't find an adapter that went from the stock bolt pattern to the two barrel motorcraft pattern or weber pattern?

this would be tough from someone without an aluminum welder buddy.

Hey I take mine to friends that have race car shops and they weld them really reasonable 60.00 and if u don’t mind spending sometime doing the porting and polishing ur self u can save a lot of money. No it still want proform like a 400.00 intake but they work really good. And if ur more into fuel injection u can put a Holley sniper on it. My header is for a 2.5 Jeep Wrangler. There intake and exhaust is on the same side so the outer tubes are to far apart. My same buddy cut and moved them for me 50.00 and being a 91 it’s a roller cam and I wanted to stay roller so I had my cam custom ground by Camcraft in Arden NC. 200.00 and I’m running 350 Chevy pistons and BBC roller rockers with 1:8 instead of 1:75 ratio it runs really good and a lot of torque. It runs 11:8s in 1/8 mile everyday tells me to put a V8 in it but I tell them V8s in S10s is like ass holes every body has one lol if u need any information just hit me up I’ll be glad to help

Are you doing a drag/drop from pics on your device? There is a paperclip that you can click on, drag your pics, then click on Full Image. It might be different on a phone...don't know
You must be on a toy computer (phone). Try another choice on pic size if your using a 3rd party.

There is a test forum to try your different setting out in.

BTW...fixed this one also.

Honestly...I don't know. I try to enlarge all of the thumbnails I see. How big are the pics on your phone when you go back and look? I've enlarged all of them in this thread so far. Your phone might resize them...don't know.

that's cool to use the stuff and do the mods, basically, your self. I have a buddy who owns an aluminum welding shop and makes the tops for boats. I imagine it would not be to expensive just to take it to a welding shop though, since its not a large weld?

my aluminum welding buddy is from back in my e30 days. he helps me out with my bicycle parts, too. (I bicycle, not motorcycle) my seat frame broke and its 300 for a new seat frame so he just welded up the snapped bars, good as new.

I would suggest you use the box with the mountain in it. It's drag & drop, and posts them Full Image. Honestly, I think it the phones that Arte the problem. When the new site first went live, I think Tapatalk had problems. They were supossed to roll out a fix...not sure if they did that.
