10mm Sockets

Can't find the 10mm socket that is needed for everything! Go to Lowe's. I've always gone into the tools sections of stores and looked for sockets hanging on display racks. I finally realized that Lowe's has socket drawer units like you have in the fasteners section for metric, high strength and specialty fasteners. Lowe's has both Craftsman and Kobalt individual sockets in drawer units below the hanging tool sets.

It's a really common size, and I've never had a problem finding it in any store that handles tools/ wrenches. Available in 6 and 12 point, regular and deep well, 1/4" and 3/8" drives are common, but can be found in 1/2" drive as well. And there are endless selections on the web as well if not needed immediately.
Great place to buy individual sockets and wrenches, even tool sets are your local consignment stores; there is usually a bocket or box of tools you can buy one of, sometimes they are life time warraneed tools and you can get them for pennies on the dollar. Pawn shops are great places AND Goodwill or St Vincent De Paul sells tools, you can even pick up some sexy underwear at these places too!
Yep, a good set of wrenches and attired in just a set of sexy undies is essential for proper shop protocol while working on your truck! o_O That's a mental image I didn't need. Victoria's Secret Sockets and Stuff - a new chain store coming to a neighborhood near you.
