I know that some cars will kick off the ac if youget into the gas a good bit,but its normaly just turning off the compressor. Well my 03 zr2 will drop the blower speed down if u give it maybe 60% gas to the floor. As far as i can tell the ac never turns off just a major drop in vent air volume/ air speed leaving the vents. And its slow to recover. Is this normal?

If you have a voltage gauge, do you notice it drop and then recover while the blower motor slowly recovers? My only other guess would be the blower motor resistor overheating and slowly cooling down from the compressor kicking back in.

I guess your meaning like the entire sys dropsout power or has a low vpltsat the time when the fan/blower slows.... no im keeping a 12+ volt when the blower slows

Has the blower motor and the blower motor resistor been replaced? Asking as most people don't replace them both at the same time.

It's possible that you don't have sufficient vacuum to the dash and the actuators are moving on you.
