    In the process of repairing my 1997 GMC Sonoma and I realized my tailgate wouldn't shut properly. After further inspection, I realized it's because the bracket that the lock goes into is either broken or missing the hardware to keep it in place. Plus my tailgate cable wasn't held onto anything...
