History
My Uncle had this S10 for years and years. He then got married and had a child, and it started having issues. That's when He decided to give it to me (I was roughly 13 at the time). The Paint had somehow stripped away so various shades of primer covered most of the body. The battery was 7 years old, and the alternator was bad. I took this truck with much appreciation and made it my own. Buying what few parts it needed here and there (I stupidly tried mounting a cheap tachometer on top of the dash resulting in a large crack and a hole the size of a nickle, ah the glory days of being young) I began driving this truck all over the bluegrass state when I turned 16. Primer Gray with a rusted out muffler. I'd drive and drive and drive.
Then I finally gave the old Sten a makover.
Painted it with Rustoleum Royal Blue paint from a local hardware store, and it's still that color today. Coated the Bed with Rustoleum black, which hasn't held up to junkyard visits for my many projects over the years.
Then New Exhaust, New Shocks, New Tires, New Stereo and Speakers.
This s10 started to become a reflection of my personality.
It remained the same until I rebuilt that old Iron Duke at 250,000 miles
And now I drive it now and then, having a newer car as a replacement.

I think when I settle down and have a son or daughter of my own, I'll slam a V8 in Ol' Stenny and really make some rubber squeal!
