My Dad Purchased the Truck in 1993 and passed away in 1994. My Mom has been driving the truck since. This vehicle has less than 80,000 miles and very few problems. The only major problem was the distributor went bad about 3 yrs ago and after some troubleshooting I tried to replace but decided rather have the old one rebuilt by a GM Mechanic of over 20 years. Just trying to help Mom when I can to keep her from spending too much since she's on a fixed income. The current problem on is a NO CRANK /NO START Problem. I removed the starter and found the wire leading from Ignition switch showing bare wire due to contact with engine. Had Good Voltage from Battery to Starter, I repaired PPL wire but no cranking voltage. I had the starter bench checked at Advance Auto Parts and Checked good. I replaced Ignition switch with AC Delco Switch but still have NO Crank Problem.
