Bought in January of 2017 with 59K miles on it. Runs beautifully and has almost NO rust on it! The previous owner was an elderly woman (87yrs old) who used it to get groceries once a week from when she bought it new. The interior is dang near perfect and the outside is pretty good although it could use a new clear coat. Other than that its like new!
1993 GMC Jimmy (Forest Green)
Under the hood needed a good cleaning when I purchased the jimmy. I went ahead and did a complete tuneup (plugs, wires, air filter, dist. cap and rotor.) The oil change is coming soon as it was completed not long before I had purchased the vehicle. Here's a little before and after on the engine bay cleanup.
As for the interior, it is mostly stock. I have added a control box for my CB, adviser lights and any extra switches I will add later. I also built a rear storage box to manage any equipment and gear.
So far Ive added my Surco roof rack which I added PSE traffic advisor lights. Also I have installed my CB antenna on the spare tire holder. To finish off the exterior (for now) I added a towing hitch/wiring harness.
I havent made any entertainment mods to the jimmy other than purchasing a tape deck adapter.
Wheel and Tire
I havent done anything with the wheel/tire setup. It currently has Bridgestone Dueler APT tires size 235/75R15.
