History
this truck has been through a lot. it is very far from perfect but it is mine and i am happy with the 4 cyl 5 speed 2wd set up. there are things i want to do but i can never get to them that is ok... if i were to do anything major i would build again on a cleaner canvis. Clyde is here to stay. I have lowered it 2/3 ( spindles and blocks) and have some 15" steelies now. the exhaust is 2.5" single cherry bomb dumped just past the axle. Somehow i get 17 and 38 mpg respectively as long as i dont feel too enthuisiastic. Rust is pretty bad, the rear end leaks from being lowered (go figure), it pops out of 4th, it has a oil leak(agin go figure its a 2.2l after all) and it losses coolant( not in the motor oil at lest).if i were to put money into it it would be cleaned up first and formost, then i would have a 4.3l 5 speed swap and a posi. no real power mods just suspention, tires, exhaust, and maybe a roll cage.. I would rather have a Autocross/rally/climber truck then a drag strip monster.
