Hi Phil thank you for all your input I've searched for hours I wonder if you know the so answer , I have a 89 s10 blazer , I'm going to buy a truck 5.3 , I've seen only 1 photo from one guy saying that you can use the stock oil pan knot hinge the cross member but you can only use this on the 1st gen s10 blazer because the engine sits higher , ... Is this true , I'm trying to do a budget build

    hi Phil-
Occurred to me that a good "sticky" in the LSx section might be a list of all the completed LSx swaps. Like year, model, "LS" engine description, transmission, state, when completed. I think you can keep a post open for editing so you could just keep adding to the list either from PM to you or replies. I think that might be a good resource. regards -C2

The trailblazer is nasty...It looks at me every time i log onto ebay. What side skirts are those?? They add a very nice "touch" to the body. Thanks,

I have been trying for a few days to register with gmtruckhq.com and i can not get past the spam verification section. I have tried every iteration of the letters of the phrase gmtruckhq.com and I'm stumped. I even had my wife try to decipher it. We feel dumb. I've been trying to find info on all modifications for installing lq9 with l92 heads in a 91 s10 blazer. I just want to register so I can check with more people like yourself on that site on how they did it, what works and doesnt work. Is there anyway you could help me out?

Not sure I can help. Some of those can't be used once they have programmed a specific vehicle. They are also very specific to certain years. In addition, you also need to make sure you are not getting a programmer with a stock program in it.

I have a really urgent question, I am working with a guy trying to buy a programer from him, he wants $75 for it, it is a hypertech power programer and will fit my truck. Is it worth that much he was asking 160, it has the original box

There is a thread dedicated to corvette wheels on the Wheels section. There are a lot of variables. Stock height vs lowered, tire sizes, type of truck, etc.

480 before the new TR Blower cam and CNC Patriot heads. Finishing it up in the next couple of weeks, then tweeking the tune and back to dyno. Hoping for at least 525.
I'm running a very conservative tune on 91 octane.

However, It merges into traffic very nicely!
