I’m a 60-something former Marine. Living in the same home now 31 years with my wife of 38 years. I’ve been disabled, prematurely retired since MAR 2000 when I was rear-ended by 5 vehicles, as they plowed into me, driving my S-10, then into one another, as I sat at a red light. I sustained multiple spinal injuries. Have endured 13 surgeries over 17 years. But am doing better each day.
I have a 1994 Chevy S-10 LS 4WD with ‘Extended Capacity Rear Suspension’. Bought new OCT 1994. 4.3L, 5-spd, reg cab, short bed, AM/FM/CD, PS, PB, A/C, Sliding Rear Window. Teal Green.
Since buying it, I’ve installed a 2“ Lift Kit to the front - giving it an even, level ride. A full set of 31x10.50x15 BF Goodrich A/T Radials, and a Matching Eagle Fiberglass Topper to replace the Black Tonneau Cover originally I installed.
It currently has 149K + on the odo. And, all in all, has been a dependable, reliable vehicle. I’ve driven it across country several times. Never had any serious issues - outside those pesky bumper mounted oil lines.
