Re: [ProjecT] Work Truck

I tried to post the pics of the truck last night but all I have to work with is an iPhone, and for some reason it wanted to auto-refresh the forum page every so often so twice I had it where I had the links in the text box and was getting the last photo when it auto-refreshed and wiped out everything. I got frustrated and stopped lol

I'll try again tonight but it will probably be several posts with just 2 or 3 pics in each, unless I figure out how to get Safari to not auto-refresh after a period of time

Re: [ProjecT] Work Truck

Been having to work a ton of overtime at work lately which has been kicking my butt, and then any free time I have at home I've either been spending with my wife & daughter or on the Colorado, so I haven't been able to get the pics up. The Colorado is almost done though... 6link is all built/installed and the shock tabs just need to be welded up then everything spray-bombed and reassembled. The plan is then that I'll be driving it back down to him in IN on Sat morning and then heading to the Badlands to go riding all day

Yup, you got it. Since it's been sitting outside for almost 3 weeks due to having the Colorado in the garage it was inherent that it would leak down at some point

Getting put back to being slammed next weekend. It is basically undriveable with the Swampers on it because I can only turn a 1/2 turn in either direction before the lugs hit the fenders Plus I want to daily it again and also have an easy way to tote around my dirt bike

Haha even though I have a buddy with a trailer I still wouldn't want to haul a trailer around all the time. So much easier to just throw the bike in the bed and leave it there all summer

But to keep the lift and Swampers I'd need to buy a body lift at a minimum

Haha yeah there wouldn't be a downside to a body lift, other than that's more stuff to take off when I go back to being slammed for summer.

Although one downside I did notice was that it rides like a bulldozer on the Swampers

You gonna do the link setup in the rear or are you just dropping the leaf hangers for the summer setup?

I ran out of time for the link setup right now so it'll just be going back to being on the monoleaf again

It bolts into the bottom of the frame rail in the spot behind the wheels that the Can-Do 6link and a few other link setups use, but then it just free floats against the top side of the leaf

Re: [ProjecT] Work Truck

Yeah, it just floats on there. I didn't want to drill a hole in the leaf for fear of creating a weak point where it could crack
