Project: Post Club Motivation.

Well, I figured i'd start up a thread just showing what I got done this winter so far, and some pictures of the past several years. This winter, I decided to bodydrop it, a sper of the moment kind of thing. I didn't plan on ever bodydroping it, but this past summer I help start a new club here in Michigan, had a fall out late June, and jumped ship. And since then, i've been using it as motivation to do the things I would of never thought I would have done. Kind of lame, I know, but it works for me. lol.

Anyway, on to some pictures...

Here's the earliest pictures I have, had a 5/6" drop, some FWD 17's, and some misc bolt ons...

I bagged it in 2009 with a SD 5link, some BLF arms, and all the trimmings.

2010 it seen some new paint, suicided drivers door, cali combo, shaved 3rd brake light, handles, and antena, fresh new paint, 18" Irocs, and a 98+ bumper.

Dressed up the interior some then.

Rolled around town like that until this past september....

Nate.

Re: Project: Post Club Motivation.

Got some tubs for the bed today, E-fan from summit came yesterday, got to figure out something for a notch cover. Got some V3 uppers and some notchless tierods from MMW coming to help with some clearance issues up front, and a few odds and ends to clean up.

All for now, let me know what you guys think.

Thanks! The plan is to add a 18/20" billet combo, add a turbo, and call it done.

Also got the E-fan in, tubs tacked in, proportional valve installed, and all the misc switches installed in the dash. But I got over to my parrents and the battery to the camera was dead, so no pictures today.

I'd LOVE to cruise. I got nobody anymore to go with , and july 12th is a Tuesday. The 9th or 16th maybe? I'm actually closer to the west shore then the east by a long ways. It's like 55-60 min to lake michigan from here.

Updates:

E-fan in (few wires to clean up)

Bed braces extended

Tubs are close to being finished, got some misc filler pieces made up to patch in, but no pictures of this.

And if someone could help me on this porp. valve, which inlet/out let goes where? And, is there someplace I can buy the wire that plugs into it for the brake light?

Re: Project: Post Club Motivation.

that wire connector is for the idiot light on the dash, from top left line to right bottom line it should be , inlet rear, inlet front, outlet front, outlet front (you can plug one and just T the front lines) and the fitting your holding in for the rear brakes

Sounds good. I'll get the day off.

Yeah, the one white one on zq8s is my buddy Brentons who I still talk to nearly on a daily basis (bwwings above). The other one, the standard cab, two toned silver/orange one, belongs to another guy I haven't talked to in a couple months. He was the one I started the club with, and had I known everything was going to lead to not talking again, I would have done things differently. ah-well.

On topic, does ANYONE know where I can find a brake switch to go to the proportional valve? I e-mailed several places and nobody seems to sell them by themselfs. I bought the kit from waylayed and expected the stock one to work, and it don't.

Re: Project: Post Club Motivation.

im not understanding what you are asking about the prop valve. The thing on the prop valve is just for the idiot "brake" light on the dash. NOt the actual brake light switch that lights up the brake lights, thats located at the pedal. Either way the plug to fit that will probably be a junk yard item, most old chevy's including first gen s10 used that type of plug. I believe my 89 fullsize has one too

Perfect. I hate the dash lights on... a pet peeve you could say. I was under the impression that both had something to do with the brake lights.

Re: Project: Post Club Motivation.

Just a tiny update for today.. got the tubs fully welded closed. They were just trailer fenders from TSC so the backs were just tacked on in 5 spots or so. I still need to make filler pieces for the top (between the tubs and bedside).

And the small parts pile I got going. Some MMW V3 arms that have been sitting on the table for over a month, and before they were released. Waiting on a new set thats .750" shorter to help with clearance between the wheels and the fenders. Also got new shafts for those, and 2 brackets for the compressors since i'm moving everything under the bed.

Well, when my other ones are done I'm just trading them out. I'm sure if you asked Taylor he would let you have these ones with no wait. I'll send him a link so he can chime in... I don't know what he has planned for sure though.

Thanks. Everyone always seems to hate it, but I love it.

Re: Project: Post Club Motivation.

I had my 94 my senior year of high school and all the girls loved the color. No complaints at all. I really want to paint my 02 the same color. Can you get the paintcode for me out of the glovebox?
