project NIGHTPROWLER

im beginning my first and only project s10.... first things first, ive alway been interested in mini trucks but have owned rangers because my family are mostly ford people. im the blacksheep of the family , i own chevy camaro's and firebirds and trans am's for projects and daily drivers and currently a newer impala 3.8 ls and my 95 ex cab 4 cyl 5 speed . its time to leave those 3rd gen f bodies in the past............ so heres what im starting with.

Re: project NIGHTPROWLER

3-4 drop, crager soft 8 wheels, roll pan and as much black and dark colors as possible to make it look evil and scary. i got the idea while i was listening to the last track of the AC/DC highway to hell cd and looking at the truck and thinking that the red just wasnt me. maybe some trible design on the tailgate.

I think its just the wheel and tire size thats tricking my eyes. Ive still got my monster truck tires on with my 3.5/4. What tire are you running?

Re: project NIGHTPROWLER

up front ive got 235/55/16 and the rears are 245/55/16. i was gonna go with a 5=5 drop but i still haul my dirtbike once in awhile and was afraid of being too low. in retrospect i should have gone that route.

what is a composite front end? im a newbie in the whole mini truck world.

Re: project NIGHTPROWLER

You should tint the tail lights.
Chrome/clear lights on a black or dark truck just looks awful IMO.
Especially since you said you wanted it all dark to be evil and scary.

yes, im gonna add the rest of the kit as well.....i sent a few of these pictures to freinds and they thought it was alittle unperportioned with the rest of the truck until they seen it in person and then said it was alot better in person...
heres a side shot and another front shot with me standing instead of facing the truck at bumper level...still need to get some bracing done at the bottom to suck in the sides alittle. i think thats the worst part of it..

If your adding the side pieces and tucking the edges of the bumper inwards, go for it. Should look better that way.

i tinted my stock taillights. i used VHT nightshades, purchased from summit. they look good, but if youre wanting high quality, or if you dont have a budget or just have the ability to save, get the professionally tinted
