Re: Project: LOWDIME

looks like a good start but theres a couple of things. first- when you go to paint it sanding off the rattle can is going to be a pain. i hate when people primer the whole car, you dont have to. it looks like yours was pretty straight for the most part. and second- take off that under construction on the tailgate, people can see with out you lettin them know. other than that good start

Do you know how many chics you can get with a corvette?
Yea, one at a time

Re: Project: LOWDIME

you should make a piece to lift the amps up a bit off the box then you can dril holes right off the amp to run the wires under and clean the wiring up a bit.

edit: if i didnt explain right, basically make another fullsize piece just like the piece the amps are on now, but put like 1 inch legs on it and mount it so there is a gap so you can run wires under the amps all hidden down to the back of the center consol then you can run then how ever you got them......... im sure you know what i mean but i was just makin sure i explained it right

Nice start, two suggestions, un-carpet the glove box door, that looks blah, and on the hood, do it all blue, it will look a lot better..i love the blue on top of the black, good choice!

or do the complete dash minus the bezel around the guage cluster and radio..... and possible paint that to match the blue.... but absoulutly paint the hood completely blue. imo. i also love the blue over black.

Looks like a fun project. I'm not really liking the carpet on the glove box door, or the blue/black hood, but otherwise looks like it's coming along.

1. Get rid of the carpet
2. Paint the hood all blue
3. Why didnt you just put the tv in the stock radio location? 2 monitors just seems like pimp my ride overkill.

Well the "in Dash" i had didnt fit. it stuck out like 3 inches out and looked like hell. im proble not going to put a secont tv there. might just keep ot open then do gauges for bags next year. Carpet is going to come off cause i wasnt really feeling it any more lol. and I was planning on haveing the black air brushed something on the hood.. idk yet. But keep posting any ideas or anything.
