Got the seats and door panel almost completed and most all of the plastic parts are painted. Waiting on the steering wheel, shift knob, shift boot and console cover to be completed and shipped back from Texas

What seats were those from originally, they don't look anything like the original S10 seats so I can't tell if they're just reskinned or if they're not from the truck lol

Did you take the head rests off? How do you get them out of the holes?

That's what was messing with me, and I think I really like the looks of the seats without that head rest!!

Nice choice wheels and tires. Are the calipers black, or are you having them powder coated orange?

The calipers are going to be black. I did not want to take them apart to do them orange and wilwood was way to much to get them in orange.

I've noticed that on the front of the bed and now on the back of the cab, you didn't apply primer. Why is that?

Even if he was going to paint those areas the same as the rest of the truck with the price of paint and the fact that you don't see much of those areas there isn't much reason to block sand for perfect surface there.

He's gone to a lot of trouble and expense so far, the extra paint wouldn't be that much. I could see him not doing the inside of the bed since it's getting lined.

As for the '58...I asked him about that...belongs to the landlord.

A 58 2 door wagon has to be very rare, that is the first one I have ever seen!

Re: 1997 S10 Project Orange

Well the weather was good today just a little windy. Got in a good 11 hours today. Got a lot done just not enough. All door jams and window jams on the cab, rocker panels on the cab and passenger side. Just the top to paint. All door jams done and all back edges on both fenders. Will hopefully get the top and front outside of all doors and fenders this week.
