IMPORTHUNTER'S blue s10

Yo, I have been gone for a while (like 6 months) but I figured I would post some pics and update you guys on some upcoming mods. Lets start the show!

Thats how it sits right now ^

Cleared the caddie tails, I think this might be slightly illegal,
I tried 3 times to rotate this pic but it just wont do it!

The hood has been done for a while and yes it just rained.

Hydroboost, and getting ready to tub the drivers side, yes I know thats a mess of wires.

I will be running the paint scheme all the way through the truck sometime

envoy handles

no thats not the KAIK bar I made this one out of steel, I think I am going to powdercoat it but there is a possibility of paint.

headliner

I will be building a new box in the near future

This whole rear setup will be replaced with a Jaguar IRS by spring.

My fuel cell (12GAL)

Bed half carpeted, 2 optima batteries.

Things to look for in the near future:
1: motor swap, 24KAdeT with 5speed unless I run across a LT1 that is cheaper.
2: Jag IRS
3: repaint it, I painted everything on here and it was my first time, I only had 1 1/2 qts of blue and I needed 3 so it is all f*cked up.
4: put some carpet in this bitch the tweed is nice but it wears out real fast.
5: throw in a few more amps and build a seat in the back for my son.

Thats all FOLKS!

A gallon of frustration and a 1'X1' of 1/8th in plexiglass from lowes.

I talked to a buddy of mine that has one and he said no matter how much he sanded on it he couldnt get it perfectly smooth, so I shot 2 layers of filler primer then sanded with 400 then shot sealer and painted it.

Its just heat/defrost, it works perfect, I put a filter on the intake side to get some fresher air. I think it works better than stock.

did you take the rivets out of the frame and take the frame off to paint separately? if not, do you think it will start to chip where the fiberglass meets the framing over time?

sorry to whore your thread with this, just looking to know before i paint mine.

Nah its cool, I hear they are notorious for that but honestly I dont know, I have been blue for 5 months now and I dont see any signs yet, I just painted the whole thing. I didnt take anything apart. I would use some bulldog adhesive promoter though.

Hey what do you guys think of the paint scheme? Is there anything you would modify? I want to keep the same colors, and keep the line matched up with the hood. I was thinking of airbrushing dark grey flames in the black and dark blue flames in the blue. Any suggestions?

I will be doing some more in the next few weeks. I am about to build a center console all the way back and with a sub box. I dont like the one I have now. Its going to have C/F and blue Kevlar for the top of the whole thing.

I also just added some HID's and I love them.
