Spare tire carrier.

Who sells the bushing for the striker bolt/pin 91 s10 blazer rear mounted tire carrier. P.0. put a piece of hose on it. But it didn't last long.

Re: Spare tire carrier.

I imagine 25 years ago you could get one from the local Chevy dealer. Today you'll likely have to replace the hose frequently.
Maybe if you can locate a picture of the original bushing some industrial supply house might have something close you could mod to fit. ??

Re: Spare tire carrier.

I just fixed mine. Bring the Pins with you to the hardware store ad well as the plastic bushing. You can match up a Broze Bushing, oil impregnated. They look exactly like the plastic bushings but Bronze. 3/4" inner diameter, forgot the rest of measurements. Fit like they're supposed to be the exact bushing. Just did this yesterday.

Re: Spare tire carrier.

Tractor Supply also usually has a drawer full of those bronze bushings.

Most good hardware stores carry them. I've never looked at Home Depot or Lowes, but I would expect to find them at one (or both) of those places, too.

If you can't light up the tires in the first three gears, you need more power.
