If you put the startup key in the right place, anything can work on all users.. Assuming the program is made to work that way, of course, and doesn't save settings per-user, in which case you WILL have to log in and save the settings under his account. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run is the mostly hidden All-Users' program start-up location... At least, it's more-so hidden than the start menu's Startup folder, lol. As for the process itself, you could change the name of the executable to something that looks like it's just a Windows native process.. svchost.exe, for example. The standard Windows Task Manager doesn't give details to processes, so there's no way to double-check its authenticity. Install the application in the Windows directory under an insignificant name, like "Drivers" maybe. I've had RealVNC (remote desktop software) running on my brother's laptop for nearly 6 months now, and he doesn't know a thing about it because I changed the startup locations and program file names.
