Is this the vacuum line for the canister?

Is this the vacuum line for the canister in the driver's fender / vac line that goes through the fire wall? Or is it for something else? Everything was pretty disintegrated under there and I'm trying to put new hoses on.
Put a fresh hose on it (pictured), has a whole lot of vacuum.

Well....not much detail in tiny pics so we'll just wing it. Assuming it's not 4x4, the vac line goes to a valve that splits between the can and a line that transitions to a hard plastic line that goes thru the firewall by the column.

I have bad luck with pics on here...this is a pic of how I think it should go (which I think is what you suggest)

It's not bad luck, it's how you post your pics. If you use a 3rd party host such as www.postimage.org, you can store you pics in multiple folders, and choose the image you want to post. I choose the Hot Link for Forums. It copies it to your clipboard, paste it in your post and your pics will be full sized.....and it can be done from a phone. It's a couple more steps, but the results are worth it. If you decide to give it a try and have problems...let me know.

Vacuum lines look OK.
Here's a Postimage pic.

Re: Is this the vacuum line for the canister?

Thanks for the tips on pics and for taking a look. To clarify, the vacuum comes straight from the engine and is split into those two hoses? Not through any switches or solenoids etc. first?
