Power steering! Help!!!

Hi yall
Looking to install power steering on my 93 s10 2.5l because 6 turns end to end is obnoxious and painful, I called up my local junkyards about mounts, he has the one that mounts into the block but apparently theres a second brace/mount? Ive been searching online for an hour now and cant find jack **** on them.
Any and all help appreciated, especially photos
Thanks!

Re: Power steering! Help!!!

You just need a power steering gearbox, pump, bracket, and hoses. I would go to a pull-it-yourself junkyard and grab the stuff. I went the opposite way, 2001 2.2L with the manual box.

WANTED: 98+ radio delete panel.
Looking for a 94-95 2.2L 5-speed Extended cab, preferably white.

I agree. You need to pull it yourself from a truck with the original setup to get all the correct brackets, braces, and bolts/studs. Helps if you label them. I carry a silver sharpie in my junkyard toolbox just for that purpose. Top, front, ETC. or take a bunch of pics with your phone.

Re: Power steering! Help!!!

The power steering sure makes things easier, but once you do that youíll never come close to the steering feedback you have with the manual

Well..I disagree...but to each his own. Power steering has been around for decades with minimal problems. I can't imagine wrestling a 4wd quadcasb Silverado around without powersteering.
