Fluid recommendation for 4L60E

I'm about to install the engine and transmission back into Richard, my 1997 S10 2WD 4.3L Vortec V6.
I've replaced the torque converter shaft seal at the front, and the rear seal at the back end where the drive shaft yoke goes in. I will also be dropping the pan and replacing the filter and pan. I have done nothing else to this transmission, and it has nearly 250,000 miles on it with no maintenance at all. It might have had the original, factory installed fluid in it (topped up a bit when I replaced the radiator). This will be a complete fill, as I drained both the transmission itself and the torque converter.

Should I just go with Valvoline Dex/Merc fluid https://www.valvoline.com/our-produc...s/dex-merc-atf at $13.97/gallon from a local source? or should I go with the Valvoline MaxLife Synthetic Multi-Vehicle full synthetic fluid https://www.valvoline.com/our-produc...ti-vehicle-atf at $17.97/gallon?

Also should I add Lucas "transmission fix" to the fluid I'm putting in? http://amzn.com/B000ARTZPO It says it "completely stops most seal leaks," and I'm concerned with new fluid going into it after all these years that I'll be cleaning out and unmasking damaged internal seals.

If you can't light up the tires in the first three gears, you need more power.
