Tire size with drop kit

I’m lowering 1st gen s10 with a 4/4 drop. What size tires should I run on rally 15x4 rim on front and 15x7 on back?

Re: Tire size with drop kit

I can't say whether or not 1st gen and 2nd gen are the same, but some questions need to be answered. what backspace do you have? on my 2nd gen with my 3/4 drop, I just put on (literally yesterday) 275/60/15 on the rear and it does NOT rub. That is a 15x8 with 5" backspacing. I have roughly 3/8" to frame, and 3/8" to the fender lip, and the lip isn't rolled. If you had rolled fenders you could go wider and still tuck in the back.

i put on 225/70/15 (4" backspace) on the front and it rubs on heavy bumps, and moderate to heavy bumps while cornering on either side. I will say that my 3" djm control arms actually lowered the car 3.375 inches up front, so a 4" drop may have you bumping your inner fender wells.

There is a sticky with a multitude of drops, tire size, b/s. Did you look there?
