Vortech upgrades

Thinking about going to a larger fuel pump, removing the ignition box, fmu and extra pump. Then going to a 2 bar map sensor and a tune. Only concern is if the spider injector is going to be an issue. Any info would be appreciated

Re: Vortech upgrades

The most straight forward to deal with it is to get a higher flow spider from Wynjammer or AUS (they're on Ebay). 36 lb/h will probably do unless you're over 300 rwhp. They're not cheap but the alternatives are usually more expensive or require a lot of fab work.

Thanks, I was thinking about that size injector and my tuner thought that should be plenty. I knew about the wynjammer injector but not the aus so thanks again

Re: Vortech upgrades

What are you tuning with? Why not ditch the maf and go speed density? Unless its the older ecu not capable
