TBI slow back to idle?

Hi guys,

It's been bugging me that when you blip the throttle the engine come back to idle slowly like 2-3 seconds, not like how a carb snaps back.

Is this normal for a TBI? have cleaned the IAC and made sure that the pintle is at the correct length, didnt make a difference though.

I dont have any issues with the truck at all bearing in mind, its just annoying that it comes back down slow.

Re: TBI slow back to idle?

I've seen this when the vehicle is cold and the tbi is going through it's choke mode. My 4.3 does this cold more so but does it slightly hot. Completely normal IMO
