    Sorry i didn't reply sooner.. i didn't see a message till today. when i put the new head on i nicked the gasket, i pulled it back apart and put a new gasket in. Been running great ever since with no coolant loss or contamination. but the heater core did decide to give out about a week after i got the head done

    you posted at one point having done a few head gaskets particular on a 2002? was it a v6? I did mine and after 3 oil changes ive still got milky oil, just wondering if you had any insight. i replaced the cheap felpro lower intake gasket that comes with the head kit to the metal framed one and still seeing milky oil on the dipstick. runs fine, 140+ compression on all cyls. Any ideas?

    did you ever have a problem with the head gasket leaking after you replaced it? i just got mine put back together tonight and its still leaking in the back

    Hi I have a 01 s10 2.2L 5 speed manual it has a misfire problem but I can't figure it out. I was coming back from vacation and usually when I go downhill I put it in neutral when I did it this time the engine accelerated dramatically by itself so I put it back in 5th gear and stepped off the gas and noticed it was still accelerating by itself. So i held I. The clutch and pulled over, turned the car off, put it In neutral,and started it up. Right away it accelerated by it self quick so I quickly turned it off. I messed with my gas pedal a lil bit then I went under the hood and messed with the throttle. When I started it up again it started just fine. I started driving and soon enough I felt like I heard the tire flat or something so I slowed down and came to a stop and my trucks been misfiring ever since. I changed the plugs wires coils gave it a oil change and changed the M.A.P sensor and still nothing. I'm kinda new to this site saw u said u got 8 yrs exp.
