    Crewcab rabbit,
I have searched tons of threads but no one mentions a NP236 transfer case on there SAS swaps. My question is did you put in a different transfer case in your CC or did you modify your NP236? I have a 2001 CC S10 with a NP236 in it. Just trying to figure out if I need to find a whole a different T case before I start my SAS project.
    Thanks,
    Jesse

Hello, I am in the process of building a 50 inch side by side and had the same thought about using two short sides of a Dana 30. It was googling if someone else had attempted this that brought me to you. I noticed that your project had not been updated for a while and wondered if you would be interested in selling the shortened Dana 30's?

    Thank you

2 things really. I looked through old posts and saw your truck, its fantastic. You did it in under 1500? Did you weld the sliders and the bumper or was it all pulled from stuff? I want to do a sas on my crew and have it lifted to be a mknster like yours but im clueless on solid axles. I know the basics really lol.

And i also run a page on instagram, zr5_nation. If you have an instagram could you pm me photos of the truck id love to post it

Hey Rabbit, i understand you are pretty much the king of SAS. I am starting to think i am in over my head, although i havent started the swap, i have been reading researching and taking notes for a few months. I plan on using a d30 from a 92 YJ with it's steering linkage, and 47 inch springs (idk if thats what is recommended), and an explorer 8.8 in the rear. Currently im on 6 inch ifs and 3 inch body, 91 s10 rc 4x4 4.3. I just can't quite figure everything out because i see so many people running into steering problems, drive shaft problems, and i do not want any of that. It would be nice to talk to someone who has done it many times, or maybe i could pay you! If i gathered all the right stuff that is.. I'm in washington. Feel free to give me a call 253 330 4691, just looking for the right directions and some pro advice. Thanks

Hey, just wondering about the tie rod on that Dakota. Is the tie rod sitting lower on the oru knuckle side and higher on the driver side? If it is, that's the same problem I'm having on my front axle too. It seems like the oru knuckle tie rod ARM is lower by about an inch than the driver side knuckle.

i have the regular cab short bed would i be able to just use the oe drive shaft and crossmember from the same year and wheelbase as mine? as far as i know the 4x4s in 87 were not box frames that should at least allow me to roll with 2x and have the 4x basics ready for the sas right?

ya iam going to say there not your best option , they are 26x27.5 and likey 3.5-4" wide so the wont really work well imo you could run rear chevy 52s and have a much better ride and flex
