I got there and back with just a military ID, but you should be ok with a DL and Birth certificate, but passport would be ideal. Totally wothe the 3 hours in the car but the beers expensive.

not so much the exchange rates, the price is just higher. I bought a 18 pack of Bud Light bottles and it was like 25 bucks. It's usually 13 here.

i only got a year to go until im 21. i try to stay at the house im drinking at so i dont get in trouble. but last night i drove home but the party was only like 3 blocks away and i was pissed off and wanted to go home.

All i takes is 3 blocks, I had a buddy that got a DUI sitting in his car running with the heat on in the parking lot of a bar waiting to get picked because he had a few. Ended up costing him about 6k$

yup, guy at work was drunk and thought his car was stolen. called the cops... they found the car (he forgot where he parked) cops said " you want to put the keys in to make sure its your car? "

he knew better and said No then walked home.

A few years back the Ex and I were at my Family's vacation home in Florida. We took my mothers VW Bug out for the day to give it some exercise since it had been sitting for a while and my mother wanted me to take it and have it serviced. We stopped at the local bar for dinner and drinks. A few drinks turned into a bunch since the bartender was an old friend. A few hours later and after we decided that my buddy was going to drop us off after work, a cop came into the bar asking for my mother saying that the car's tags expired. I went outside and talked to him and he wanted me to take the car home and I called him out on his BS. He was pissed.
#1 the tags were not expired, The car was registered in Texas and they're tabs aren't on the plate, it's a sticker on the windshield, if he had actually run the plates he would have known it was good
2ND, any idiot could tell I was drunk, why would I drive a car yet alone a cop tell me to take it home?
I think he was trying to trap me into a DUI since it's a small town with not a lot of action. I told him to go home and went into the bar for another beer.

That reminds me of my uncle who got to drunk to drive home from the bar so he called AAA and said his car died, they towed his car home with him in the towtruck for free, I guess it's cheaper than a cab and he had his car at the house in the morning.
