new truck

well, bought myself a new truck, something a little bigger than my silverado. 20K on rebuilt motor, 5K on rebuilt tranny, dana 60 in the rear, dana 44 in the front, in the picture it is sitting on 39.5" super swampers, also have a set of 37" SS and a winch that was included, i just need to build a bumper for it.

if anyone is interested in the silverado let me know or if you know anyone that might be interested let me know, i need to get rid of it ASAP

You're too kind there Bret. Truck looks badass.
Doug's doing a SAS on a 720 right now for one of the guy's in our club. Probably won't be as tall as your's though.

peter is right matt...or is it ryan....i just got to fix a u-joint and then i want to build a bumper for the winch to sit on before i do much. one of the great things about this truck is that it gets the same gas mileage as my blue silverado. V8 sonoma, i don't think the 44 will have any problems. everyone is telling me to watch out for the 60, but my neighbor was talking to me about it when i got it telling me he thinks its a corporate or something like that, i am new to all the different axles still

Re: new truck

I would rather have a Dana 60 under my rear axle then the Ford 9
but the difference between the two being 80 pounds (dana 60 heavier)

I doubt the 60 is going to give any problems

looks good if it was lowered kidding

Re: new truck

Re: new truck

HAHAHA no. lol
im waiting on doing welds for suspension
and a t56 from sixspeedsinc.com is being built
i have alot to do alot. and work tires me out so much

and i doubt you will have any troubles with the dana 44 either.
if an ls2 (425hp) can be dropped into a Wrangler with dana 44's isnt a problem... whatever that silvy has shouldnt phase it

i wish my jeep had 44's but it has the 35's
