That might be to wild and high for me what about other painters not so much custom. just looken to get a good solid paint on a couple of things ( bumpers, roll pan, side skirts) and if they work out get the whole truck re-done when I shave every thing.

I manage Sherwin Williams Automotive Finishes on South Tacoma Way. We have around 50 shops that we regularly service. What type of work are you looking for? Are you just looking for a base/clear?

im looking for a 50 50 split top botom with matalic blue base. then to make to the two tone I want the top half sprayed with a charcoal black clear coat. so you can still see the blue through it

I'm not sure exactly what effect you are looking for, but it sounds like you will need a tri stage to get the "see through effect" on top. Unless you have seen a similar color on a vehicle, the only way to really get that effect will be by trial an error...mix...spray out...mix...spray out...etc. You probably could use the blue as a ground coat and do some kind of black pearl in a mid coat. Start saving your pennies if you are looking for a tri stage two tone. Higher materials cost, and more importantly, a much higher labor charge.

Oh right lol. Yeah, I work and live a couple miles away. I was actually working on my garage that day and didn't hear or see a thing.
