A good place to get my drive line shortened

Im going to drop my truck in a week and i find out that standard cabs have a problum with their drive shaft. I have an 94 s10 4.3 tbi and im gona put a 3/4 on my truck. has anyone done this and did they have to shorten their shaft. If i do what is a good place to do this, in tacoma or that area.

Ps I will provide beer and a ride home to someone to help with my drop

Re: A good place to get my drive line shortened

angled blocks are not a fix for needing to shorten the driveshaft, but for minor cases, a setback plate also sold from jtr will.
make sure you know if you need a flat block or angled block. measure everything before and after. fender lip and pinion angle

idk if your forgetting anything. i dont remember what i did when i dropped mine static. i know i used a lift just because it's easier but i bagged mine on the ground so it shouldn't be that bad

Theo + Matt,
Bring it up to Ft. Lewis this weekend and We can do it at the craft shop. They've got a lift and tools, and if you two come up Sat morning we could have it done and you two can roll up to the Aftermath meeting that night.

I can also get you all the bellTech stuff from Baxters overnight with a military Discount, It ended up being cheaper than getting it online.
