My check engine light came on today so I did a tune up on it. I noticed that there were pebble-like deposits in the pan that I used to drain the oil in. My cat converter has been long overdue to be replaced. Are the deposits from the cat possibly? anyone?

Ya, he got about two weeks ago. I met him at the lake last weekend. We took my boat out for the day. Looks like he will be picking it up soon. Were supposed to be heading to Havasu the week after SEMA but the girl and I are looking like were not going to make it for that one. Were trying though.

nope deposits couldnt possiby travel backwards from the cat converter to the oil pan...

was the pebbles metal or plastic like?

No. It could be from something else other then your engine. When you drain your oil, do you watch it? Now if you said that you saw slivers of metal in your bucket after you drained it. You would have a problem. And what year is your S-10?

Yo!.............. or something....................School is going well, had two finals last week, and passed both. Have one tomorrow, and another on wed or thurs, and one on saturday, that decides if we get out of the class and remained employed.

I'm not worried too much, but I am definitely studying my ass off. I dont have time for too much of anything else right now, but thats part of the deal .

Anyway hope everyone is doing good and if I'm lucky, I'll see you guys at star*ucks in 2 weeks.

Well, wasn't able to make it out to Starbucks Friday. Decided to get sick instead. Been sitting with a fever, headache, coughing, sneezing, the whole deal all weekend. To top it off, I watched my dog get hit by a car on Saturday afternoon. He's "ok" but is sore and has some minor internal bleeding. I'm probably going to pull a half day today and maybe take off tomorrow. I'm supposed to be going to SEMA on Thursday too! What a week to get sick.

This weekend was nuts. I called in a drunk driver that pulled next to me at the gas station. He had a small kid in the back seat and was literally drinking while filling his tank. WTF! Then 5 minutes later, I saw one of my uncles work trucks backed into some guys retaining wall! I stopped and it turned out it was one of my uncles old trucks he sold. The guy never took off the decals on the truck.

Cops got there and got him for no insurance.

Then Saturday, I watch my dog get hit. That was fun. On the way to the doggie ER, I see a motorcycle run into the rear of another motorcycle, then when the front bike fell, the guy that ran into him, ran over him! Then when he tried to stop the bike, he gave it gas and the bike took off without him! I was going to stop to help but I had my dieing dog in the back. I saw a cop and hauled ass up to him and told him what was up though. Then on the freeway 2 minutes later, I see a brand new, blue Dodge Viper on fire. Flames coming up through the hood and all. Nutz! There were some other odds and ends that happend but that's the jist of it. Fun huh.
