Re: So Cal General Discussion

Yeah gas prices are making things go up. When I was looking to move here, I got quotes back in Feb..its was $1375 for BOTH cars...

Now I'm looking @ $1000 for one...no way. I'm really thinking of just selling the Blazer while its still in Ca. I think it just needs a cat. I just put a new O2 on it, the idle is a lil high, by like 300 rpm. No intake leaks that I can find. the TIMING is on.

Stupic Ca and its SMOG laws...I know it will pass here though.

Flux...The house is in Mesquite, TX..its on the outskirts I guess of Dallas..on the East side. Got the house for $127 and change...1735 sqft house.

man I wish I could have done that in Cali. I was looking by my dad in Hesperia..they WERE that low for brand new homes... but they have crept up some, around $200's.

The Blazer is a 88 2dr.

I have more pictures in a blog on www.myspace.com/blowngk

I'm doin good man. I've got another regular job right now, Wed-Sun, 10:00-7:00. LAx to SAN, it's pretty cool, I take a metrolink to work and back, so I actually get home almost every day. I'm looking into another condo right now, trying to get into something with a nice garage.

Hows the UP treating ya?

Been pretty good man! Work is going well, I was getting out everyday on the extraboard, making almost as much as working the road outta Colton, and home everynight without that hellish drive!

Doin' some research about what I want outta the truck, and what I want to do with it. While at the same time trying to prepare myself and my lady so that we can be ready for the little one, and maybe someday get into a house......"with a nice garage"! LOL!

When are we all gonna get together again? There's a show in Corona on May 6.

I'm doing alright, working every 3-4 days. Would be nice to get out everyday but it just isn't happening cause there are like 58 people on the XS11 and a lot of the guys are staying marked up in the yard. Yep I still have them just let me. I think I'll work on Thrusday sometime then again on Sunday. Glad to hear your doing really well.

Truck jam is cool, I think I'll roll out to Corona and check out the Relaxed show though. It might be smaller, but it'll be a better representation of what's cool and real, and not just whats trendy.....

But I have been wrong before.

Sounds cool, when's Truck Jam anyway. Is it in Irvine or Costa Mesa this time around? It's been a while since I attended.

no i went there the other day and there isn't shit done except for the backhalf. i am coming to take it whether he likes it or not. i don't know if it even runs because he was putting in a new wire harness. i took my keys out of the ignition, his garage was wide the **** open. i already paid him well over than for what is done on it. so i am going to go and grab it whenever i find a trailer with someone that can haul it.

Well, you may want to see what a tow company would charge you and get it done today since the bill gets mailed I believe.
