The paint's peeling, and it has pretty significant body damage... that and it's a 2.2

Runs perfect still though w/ 150k mi (knock on wood) ... I'm working on fixing the damage and I just met a painter that wil do it for me for the cost of the paint so stuff will start getting fixed soon.

A couple months back his girlfriend (who works with me) was having car trouble and I stayed after work to help her out.. replaced her alternator in the parking lot.. she introduced us and he said he'd help out with the bodywork in exchange for me helping her out

He works at a bodyshop so I trust he'll do good work

So finally here's some pics from the show.....

A "Bro Truck", and another, and another, and another, and another............................

I saw some cool S-10's , but nothing earth shattering. I thought I saw what might have been Cory's truck, (the dude had a big fat Dragstar sticker on the gauge cluster of his "custom" dash.)

This was right about where Cory said his truck was, but one row back. There was a cool blue one with a painted interior next to that guy.

I love this truck! so clean , subtle, just right! Mostly, I dig the wheels! I know they're 20in. KMC's, but I forgot the name of them.

The Devious Customs Dime on 22's. I thought they had this thing laying body?

That's about all that I saw as far as S-10's. I'm sure I missed something, Cory's truck, (the one time I met you dude you brought out your big Dodge. ), and a few other things.

SICK 67'-72' Long Bed Chevy! one of my favorites out of the entire show!

Dude kept the straight six, and everything was just so damn clean. I dig. The interior shot didn't come out as well as I'd hoped. It was all digital dash in the factory holes. etc....

Cool Laid out 55'

Independant rear end, Mazda? Supra?

Sic tube work, overdone but sic none the less........

Here's some other things that caught my eyes...

2 door Charger by West Coast Customs

Cool Paint

Oh it's so cute! It's a Little Datsun! (I dig the Old School Datsun's)

Snakeskin interior anyone?

This guy actually had, alligator, ostrich, and snakeskin, with the heads of the snakes everywhere!

48' Pontiac, in the Chassis by Aaron Iha Booth. New frame front to rear, sheet metal floor, etc.....

Cool 3 door 'Burban in early stages of completion...........Truck has a big block too! Looked like a barn find with some work. I like that, not afraid to drive it like that!

****ing clean old school Monte Carlo with 20in IROC's and SLAMMED!

I love those cars!

Cool Lincoln LS Laid out.

My favorite bodystyle Caddy, with the Babyseat in the rear, upholstered to match!

Carbed LS series engine in 67'-72' body truck.

That's about it. There was alot of stuff we walked by that caught my eye that I didn't get a shot of, the big White Chebby in the back of the Brand one booth, and a few other cars.........etc.......

The "Bro Truck" moniker came from one of the other guys on here. I just latched onto it. But yea, I like your definition of it too!

"Hey Bro! Check it! I finally Got those 4in 'Glass Fenders For the Range' ! Now it Finally Looks Like a Pre-runner! Uh.........well, Sorta Ya know......I mean I gotta get'em painted, and I won't take it offroad, I spent too much onthat Killer Fabtech setup and the custom powdercoating!.......... Still man! It looks F-ckin' Tight Bro!"

LOL!

Re: So Cal General Discussion

well we just had 3 or four tornadoes touch down and do some damage! Luckily they hit only the southern part of Clovis, New Mexico cause im in north Clovis, So me and a co worker took 2 CAT Loaders down there to help clean up the mess, we had a CAT 924G and a CAT 930G, the best part was when the Police asked us if we could move this house out of the middle of the Road and we plowed through it at full speed! it was awsome, but I just got back from doing that, i got a few pics But its at night soo they arent the greatest.............

That GT Pitstop truck made me laugh. Thats a tiny ass little detailing shop on the corner by my house. I've never seen that truck on big tires before, it's always sitting out front on stock wheels and tires, and I laugh at it every day.
