Re: So Cal General Discussion

so the 88 is a gross poluter @ the 15mph test. I think I'm giong to retire the truck.

I'm thinking of selling some stuff off it. only things I can think of are the smoothie front bumper, wheele (with tires) and maybe the tail lamps.

I would need a bumper for the truck and some stock steelies. I have OEM tail lamps.

If anyone is interested..LMK.

I know this is a few days late, but no, you aren't the only one. I don't have kids, or one on the way... lol... most of my friends don't either, thank goodness, but they are all in relationships, and I am the only single one....

Re: So Cal General Discussion

i understand the kind of weird, but nice thing. I am recently out of a 6 1/2 year relationship. pretty much was with the guy since my senior year of high school, and then we broke up when we moved in together... we are still very very good friends, but is still strange at times being single

Re: So Cal General Discussion

Here is a picture..I was thinking $100 + trade of some stockies with tires??? not sure yet. Still seeing what my options are on this. I can retire it (it gets crushed) and get $1000 for it if I qualify...I dont know if anyone would want it for a parts truck...

Thumbs up Re: So Cal General Discussion

Fixxer; Man that blows! That'd be a pretty good parts truck, or even a project for someone! If the roof is the othe only thing man, and it's otherwise solid, then it'd deffinitely be a great place to start.

Fluxxor ; I might go to Forbidden we'll see. I'm working 7 days a week right now, while the work is there and the money is there to be made. It's kinda feast or famine here, so I shut up and go do it.

Tommy; That sounds pretty cool Tommy! I'd like to see this thing in person and go for a ride. Exh., chip, and everything Huh!?! A 2 Door 2wd Tahoe would be ideal, and they are still around, I saw a black one with Torq thrusts for sale on Adam's here in H.B. back around Thanksgiving, but it was only there for 2 days. I need the 4 door for the family thing. the Little lady doesn't understand the concept of using the lever on the back of the seat in a 2dr apllication.......LOL!

Things do change when you move in together, This is the first time I've ever done anything like this, and we've had some growing pains, but we work through them and are stronger for it. We spend alot of time together, (untill recently, with work and all), and not alot of time on the outside with our friends , which sometimes is hard, but with work, and needing sleep , it's hard to find time for everything else. Just have to remember to to lose yourself in each other, retain yourself, but love the other one. (don't know if that makes any sense, probably babbling.).

yea, we both pretty much had different ideas of what it would be like, and he wanted 'freedom' and I wanted someone to come home to. It's cool now though, I moved out on him while he was out of town, gave him warning, but he thought I was too chicken to do it. We didn't talk for about 2 months, but now we are talking and are good friends still. He still lives in the apartment, I still have keys to it. We hang out, but that's about all it ends up being. We talk every so often, but it's better off this way.

We delt with that too. I want to come home to her, she wants to come home to me, but sometimes I need a minute or two to get wound down from the day and wanted my time to do the things around the house that I wanted to do, (read a magazine, mess around on the computer for a bit, talk to my homies, etc). We had an argument, but worked it out, she gives me time when I come home and we spend time together from then. We have time for our friends, and each other. It's cool now.....

Re: So Cal General Discussion

dawgnutz- didnt even see that huge post haha. Anytime you want to go for a ride im down. I just put in the new intake today and some new diverter valves, Has an mtm chip(might change to giac though) and a neuspeed exhaust. Downpipes will be on their way in a couple weeks. After that all I can do is upgrade the fueling and the turbos which I will do at the same time. After the downpipes I should be at around 320whp, After the new turbos and fueling though I will definately be at 410-430 whp range

Yeah the truck runs...My Room mate has been driving it for the past month or so.

It was high on the Nox and Hydro Carbons @ the 15mph test.

I dont want to sell it cause I'm finaly going to be making some money and I'd be able to fix it up like I wanted it.

This is the second time we've broken up. I'm just over it all. I don't have the want to be with him again. I don't have the want to hang out with him, but do just to keep the peace. But otherwise it's cool. I can now get back into fixing my blazer without getting bished at that I spend more time with her, and on the message boards, and at shows than I spend with him. I find it funny that usually that is the other way around...
