help from someone in AZ with a manual tranny

hey ya'll was hoping someone might be able to possibly help me out i am in desperate need of learning how to drive a manual transmission i have never driven one before and i really need to learn how and have no one who can teach me locally...i need to know how to drive one before i put my bid in for a package driver position at UPS i would buy ya some lunch or somehting for helping me out i would greatly appreciate it...if it makes a difference i am in phoenix off of central and bell but in like 2 weeks i move to peoria off of 83rd ave north of union hills

Dude have you learned yet?

You know, it's like riding a bicycle, or swimming. You just go and tell yourself "I'm gonna do that" and you do it.

Driving manual with a truck is a little bit more of a challenge than with a car, because you need to over-rev while clutching often, a bit like when you ride a dirt bike in technical terrain, or else you're going to have a rough drive and puke. Especially if it's a 2.2.
