Re: Any Bay Area Members Out Here?

14 trucks or people? You going to a show or just for fun? I have family coming out from Las Vegas so we are going to check out Alcatraz (again) on Saturday and then hit up Montery on Sunday.
Damn, and I still want you to work on my tailgate. I just need to find some time.

Re: Any Bay Area Members Out Here?

We have 14 people going with 6 trucks and 10 quads/bikes. Its just for fun. I'm bringing my surfboard, I haven't been out in the water since last year, I'm anxious. Whenever is good for you I can do it, no rush. Im buying a TIG welder in the next few weeks, I can't wait.

Ha Ha! I was wondering if anyone would ever comment on that. It's from a Carlos Mencia bit. He's talking about stupid people and says something about "what? I have 4.6 gps". Then he pauses and says something like "everyone one of you that are thinking wow that's pretty good, i'm talking about you right now". He's talking about GPA and obviously a 4.0 is the highest and the stupid person in his bit calls it a GPS. At one point he says in his stupid person voice, "I have a 4.6 GPS!" and then hits himself in the head with his microphone. I thought it was pretty funny, so I put if up to see if others that may have seen the DVD would recognize it. Big gulps huh? Welp, see ya later.

Yeah but you might have to put a bigger notch in, especially with having bigger rims. Why not just raise the back part of the floor up with aftermarket sheet meta, and recover it with carpet and you will never know its there

Re: Any Bay Area Members Out Here?

I can get sheet metal. A 4x8 foot sheet of 16 gauge is only 60 bucks my cost. I have access to a shear and brake press. Just need the time and we can get it done. Just get a SD blazer notch. We will cut the floor out, unbolt your bolt in notch, weld in the new notch, build your 4 link and get you to lay out then weld in the new floor, cover it up and youll be good as new.

Do you think you could replicate the s-10 door emblems that everyone takes off? I'm thinking a polished piece that is the same size as the stock emblem with the letter and numbers "engraved" into it would look cool. I can't remove my emblems because when Earl Shite painted it they took off the badges but painted over the leftover glue, so I was thinking of some alternatives. It's just an idea.
