stock vxl slashes will do 35mph...

they make nitro ones but the price on them doubles.

I paid my truck off in '02 and paid the Saturn off in '05. I won't buy another vehicle unless I can pay cash for it.

it cost about 100 if not more to get your stock one shortened. ill sell mine for 50.
its been shortened 3/4 of an inch

when you lose the shift point it's a bitch to find it again...but you can if youstart from scratch and keep adjusting alittle at a time

Kenny you would have to figure out if the mounts are the same. if the tranny will "bolt" up. and if it all does go together... beef up all the parts.

if you want something faster without doing a whole bunch of mods, just get the new rs4 engine.

So I just found out there's a small dirt oval in Fremont right behind Fry's. Also it seems they have a Bolink Legends class. I have a Legends car I raced a little bit back in the day...might be fun.
