i am in Lincoln which is between springfield and bloomington and morton and peoria and is where the LDC campus is that the governor closed after spending millions on tearing donw old buildings and building four brand new ones and allowing a millions dollars of maintainence on it each year but yet wont open it or use it for anything

i used to go to chi-town often, its a 2.5 hour trip one way if you drive fast enough haha


theres a TON of these S-trucks in this stupid town here but all are stock beaters for the most part

a very few rare F bodies and i have the only single existing '82-84 firebird around here that i have ever seen in MANY years,, if not a decade

im always parting out various years makes models and we have a full private shop with a lift and have been in the "business" for a long time now, trans and engine replacements, have welders, torch, plasma, saws, etc

we have many vehicles from a 54 f-100 and a 72 chevelle ss 454 and a 57 bel air HT coupe and a 68 corvair monza convertible and on up through the 90's

I live in Vandalia, IL which is about 60 miles East of St. Louis and there are 3 mini trucks here in this town.. Thats it. A town of 8000 people and 3 of them have mini trucks modded.

Have had a bit of an oil leak going and decided to finally take it in and get repaired. Anybody recommend and good shop in the Belleville/Fairview Heights area?

Oh forgot to mention that it looks to quite possibly be the coming from front and rear main. Or should I just drive the wheels off of it, keep adding oil, and save for a swap? lol. The quotes have been going for around 600 bux so far.

clean the engine compartment and underside with a good oil and grease remover... dirve it a little bit and try to see if you can determine where it is coming from...

as for mechanic shops in the area, I don't know of many full service shops. I do my own maintenance and repairs on most of our vehicles
