hey I found you a complete 350 4 bolt main for 300 bucks. just needs a carb.Its in pieces but complete. Can also have a set of .030 pistons..Damn the flu man...that sucks..

chris....jason....whoever else was interested in the luv...i think i decided last night i'm gonna keep it...me and my buddy are gonna take it on as our project....master welding, cuz i ain't welded a bit in a year and a half or so..and he wants to get agrasp on body work...and i wanna be able to take a late model 4.3 and a nv3500 and put it in, and make it work...just be a fun, cheap (i'm sayin that now...) project and i'll keep ya'll updated...we'll prolyl start on it mid of this month, when he gets home from greenville on spring break

Sounds fcuking cool jason, be sure and post pics. Although I wouldnt use a NV3500, They suck majorly. Use a BW T-5 or something, like out of a 95 or so. Ive had the worst luk with the NV, Ive been through 3 of them, they dont seem to want to take more than 250hp/300ftlbs. Plus they shift like shit. Just my .02

i was sittin in class today thinkin t-56....but who knows...need to get the damn 4 cylinder runnin right first, maybe i can drive it from my uncles to my buddies house, i think we'll keep the truck there, only 2 miles away from each other or so...we'll see chris, i think i'll bag it, maybe....maybe stock floor....make it have some old school qualities, with some modern day amenities...BIG WORD....i dunno....prolly will give it a shave treatment...you think that bodystyle would take a yota bumper, more specifically a 4-runner bumper? i have always wanted to get that bumper if i had a truck to put it on....i'm leanin towards a green color...with some z71 rims..keep it simple, and the z rims have the lil ridges where it falls off the face of the rim, i'd like to powdercoat those green for a lil accenting... www.luvtruck.com here i com Last edited by sdime98 : 03-03-2005 at 08:27 PM. |

well my main motivation for that statement is the luv is old school to start with....but the newness will be the motor swap...i dunno..i'm just talkin outta my ass for now..i'll have to reflect back on all the pages of this thread and get my old school knowledge goin...lol....ya'll can clue me in on any suggestions too
