UCONN Car Show 4-9-06
UCONN 4th Annual Car Show
Our 4th annual car show is set for Sunday, April 9, 2006. This year it is going to be bigger and better than ever, we want to break the 400 car mark, please help us make this possible!! Our show has something for everyone, imports, domestics, classic cars, trucks and exotic race cars. To really see what our show is all about click the pictures to the left to see pictures from past years. The gates will be opening at 10am. Judging will take place between 12pm-3pm. Trophies will be given out after the judging is finished at 3pm. A detailed list of the awards that are to be given out are listed below. We are looking for vendors to help us sponsor the show. We are not looking for much, just a $50-$100 donation or something of equivalent value to give away/raffle off. Space for vendors will be limited so please e-mail us early!! Breakdown: When: Sunday April 9th, 2006. Gates open at 10, Judging begins by 12, Trophies by 3pm. (No raindate!, this show is on RAIN or SHINE!) I'm going, lets see some more bagged bitches rollin up to this joint. Where: The University of Connecticut, W-Lot Who: this is a car show for all makes and models. What: 400+ cars, raffles (including a raffle for a $150 gift certificate to F1 Boston, 50mph go karts for those that dont know), and a damn good time! How much: Should be 5 dollars per car. Classes: 1. Best Honda/Acura 2. Best Mitsubishi /DSM 3. Best Nissan 4. Best Toyota 5. Best Subaru Best Import (Determined from groups 1-5) 6. Best Ford 7. Best GM 8. Best Mopar Best Domestic 9. Best BMW 10. Best Audi/VW Best Euro 11. Best Other (Saab, Volvo, etc) 12. Best exotic (Porsche, Vipers, Ferrari etc) 13. Best Classic Pre 1960 14. Best Classic - 1960-1985 15. Best Truck 16. Best Off-Road Truck 17. Best Jeep 18. Sleeper Award 19. Type R Award (aka. Ricer Award) 20. Best Team/Club Participation (club/team with most cars wins) 21. Peoples Choice Award (Participants decide by ballot) 22. UC3 Choice Award (UC3 Members vote) I'm going, lets see some more CT bitches rollin up to this show. |

Yeah I didn't find about about it until like friday, so sorry guys. I will be driving up would a couple of other trucks.

HUGE turnout....someone said the final count was upwards of 400 cars....not a bad show...could have been alot better with more trucks...saw a few of the DI kids...couple of AIC kids....all in all not bad....
