pa meet/bbq

hey im thinking about throwing a meet/bbq in the lehigh valley area. anyone wanna help me set this up? because i dont know any minitruckers around here since i have bought my truck and want to meet some people around here. ive seen a pink noma up at my friends house thats bagged.and a few blazer xtremes and a ton of s10 xtremes.

i have a few locations in mind

1. bicentennial park in east allen township
2. my dads house in walnutport
3. 26th street park in northampton
4. canal street park in northampton

ok i the location figured out it will be bicentennial park in east allen township.

date is possibly going to be the 19th of july. 12-6 then heading over to northampton to watch some expolsions(fireworks), at the fair.

Where is Bicentennial park?

the park is located about 2 miles away from lehigh valley international airport. if anyone needs directions i will be posting them in a bit gotta get them from a few areas.

general directions:
General Directions:
*from Philly area or south*
-Take PA turnpike Northeast extension (I-476)
-Take exit #33 - Lehigh Valley / Allentown exit
-After toll booth, stay to the right to get on RT 22 East
-Take the Airport Rd North (PA 987 N) exit (look for LVIA airport signs)

*from East* (northern New Jersey, etc)
-Take 22 West (can get there from 78, junction is in Phillipsburg)
-Take the Airport Rd North (PA 987 N) exit (look for LVIA airport signs)
[continue to park directions below**]

*from West* (Harrisburg, etc)
-Take 22/78 East
-22 & 78 will split, stay to the right to get on 22 East.
-Take the Airport Rd North (PA 987 N) exit (look for LVIA airport signs)

*from North, central PA, etc*
-Take PA turnpike Northeast extension (I-476) south
(there is an entrance that intersects I-80)
-Take exit #33 - Lehigh Valley / Allentown exit (first exit after
tunnel)
-After toll booth, get on RT 22 East
-Take the Airport Rd North (PA 987 N) exit (look for LVIA airport signs)

**directions to the park**
You should now be on Airport Road (PA 987) heading north, you are
basicly going straight on it for some time.
You will pass the following after merging: (in order, all stoplights)
-Avenue A (light)
-LVIA airport entrance light (on left, think the name of street on right
is City Line Rd)
-Race St light (left turn only)
-Shoenersville Road (large intersection, last one before single lane)
-Orchard Ln (light)
-Hanoverville Rd (NO light)
-You'll pass over a slight hill. Upon coming down, there will be a
developement on your right.
-Make a left onto Dogwood Rd (there should be a sign for Bicentennial
Park)
-Follow this road, it will curve to the left at a dirt driveway.
-The entrace to the park is shortly after the driveway, make a right
into it.
-Follow the entrance into the park

Note: if for some reason you are coming from the north on PA 987
(airport road) going south...
-You'll pass the light at the rt 329 intersection
-You'll pass a mini-golf course (on left)
-Make a right onto Dogwood road shortly after

With any luck this weekend will be spent car shopping. I just spent 368 dollars to have my truck towed from my house on a roll back and then the starter replaced. I cant continue to spend money like this on a truck i absolutely despise. so i wont be at the meet man sorry
