Re: maryland

Sandy Point is the exit right before the bay bridge. Not a bad park, but will be busy on a Sat in a month or so, also alot of cops around due to the beach traffic. I'm up for meeting where ever, but I doubt my truck will be done in a month. I lost another weekend on it last weekend cause I got stuck working 46 hours in 3 days (Thurs - Sat). Hoping to get the roll pan molded in this weekend. Wiper cowl is about done. then I have the door and paint left (so it'll be done in about 4 years). I can always rock the brown turd.

Re: maryland

sandy state park will indeed be very busy on a saturday. Maryland Street Scene did a meet there in the fall, it was fun, but very busy and crowded. I would definitly be down for a meet in a park an doing a little cook out thing, thats always fun.

seems lake elkhorn is the only one with a pavilion for picknicking and such but it has to be reserved...if everyone is ok with the spot ill call tomorrow and get details and maybe reserve it....then ill start a whole new thread about it

Re: maryland

Just FYI, if we do it at lake Elkhorn, if you are comming from Rt 29 and heading up Broken Land Pkwy, stay out of the left lane after passing Okland Mills Rd. There's a HUGE dip in the road for a storm drain just at the top of the hill before you get to Elkhorn, and you will bottom out (well if we bring our "good" trucks).
