I need HELP....Anyone who knows engines well, PLEASE READ!

Alright, if everything goes right, i would be going on a 3 hr trip to dirve and pickup a motor/tranny that all i have is the word from the guy that its in good shape and ''Not a damn thing wrong with it'' ANd i dont know the guy so i am just going with his word.

I do not have anyone that is a motorhead or gear head that would be able to help me out and i figured that mayhbe a fellow forum member could help out another. The motor is in Richmond, Va area and i was wondering if someone that is knowledgable could and would be willing to help me out. Please let me know cuz i would be going on Saturday April 19th and i really would like to have someone that is knowing what the hell they are tallkin aobut come with.

And believe me....if you do come down and get it with me, inspect it and everything goes right, you will get something in return for you helping me out.
