Hauppauge- Long Island- Help Please!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please see the attched pics for clarity,
I am looking to put 'back to stock' my 2001 GMC Sonoma. If there is anyone on Long Island that can assist me to do this please chime in. I am willing to pay for labor if that is necassary. The sooner the better would be great! I need to know the following: -Do I need different spindles? If so, where can I get them? -Where do I get stock u-bolts for the rear? I beleive that's all I need to do is take out the blocks and bolt back up the leaf springs. Pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance! Timothy Last edited by TimsR1 : 11-21-2008 at 02:39 PM. |

ok if its dropped with spindles then you can go to a dealer for new stock ones, or a junkyard, but it might have springs and spindles. so you have to check on that. as for the u-bolts go to a local hardware store. dealer will sell them as well. and the work is easy and if u have a basic tool set then you can do it

Re: Hauppauge- Long Island- Help Please!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought this truck the way it is so I have no clue what components are installed on the truck. All i know is that there are blocks in the rear that allow for the drop in the rear. I have been told that the front spindles would have to be aftermarket to allow such a drop, lol, I have no clue, lol.
Is there a way of identifying the brand or type of the front spindles? |
