Its made of wood. I just bought a 94 4x4 auto with a 4.3 so im gonna take the beater off the road. Its most likely getting scrapped. if you want the hood its yours for 25$. I will go up to my parents and look at the hood this weekend. I gotta go up there and show my K5 to some guy, hopefully he buys it.

Its an s10 hood. its at my parents house. I got a guy looking at buying my blazer and some other random stuff on saturday, so while im there i will check it out. Then im off to NH to buy some beer on the cheap so i will post sometime saturday to let you know what shape its in.

I am from orange, ma. All my junk is at my parents house in warwick, ma. I got all kinds of junk for sale. I got a few 350s some th400 th350 trannys NP203 NP208 NP205 transfer cases. I got an 83 k5 blazer, i got an 85 k20 pickup. i got my 97 ext cab, its pretty complete except for the bed. I have a few first gen parts left over from when i had my 88. I have some noses doors steering colums bumpers and some other junk for 73 - 87 (94) full size pickups. I have a 1987 vw rabbit convertable with a decently built motor. I have a set of almost new 35" bfg mud terrains. I got a ford nine inch out of a 60s pickup. I mention that its out of a truck because the pinion angle is different on the truck ones vs the car ones. I got a set of honeycomb wheels from a 77 trans am 15" x 7" . I got a set of the ranger style aluminum wheels 14" i got a set of anodized blue steel wheels 14". I got a six inch lift for a 73-87 chevy full size. i have piles of tires from cars i have scrapped. My father has a frame that he started to do up for a race truck, its got a full cage and some other goodies. now that hes racing a modified at claremont and a mustang at monadnock that project has been shelved. I got a 91 toyota tacoma with 14" of lift. chevy 350 chevy sm465 trans np205 transfer case with a solid axle swapped in from an older yota. I got a few holley carbs two barrel 350 and a 500. a couple of four barrels a quadrajet and a rochester. a few flowmaster 40s a set of 33" tires on 16.5" 8 lug aluminum wheels. Some old monte carlo parts. a few doors decklid. ss dashboard and some other junk. I scrap a lot of cars too so i usually save the good stuff off of them. Anything in particular your looking for?

yeah hoods headlights grill headlights from a blazer the composites! and i want another sonoma hood but right now ill settle for an s10 hood!!! i would say i would come buy it off of you this weekend but im on duty for the ambulance so i cant leave town

I will go check it out this weekend. if the hood is in great shape i will pull it off and have it ready to go in case you want it. i have to go up there and sit around waiting for a guy to come look at my K5 blazer. I would love to get rid of that. A nice quick $500 and i would have some room for the 94 s10 i just bought.

The hood is in alright shape, there are two dents in it. they are not too serious. looks like they are from someone sitting on the hood. if you took the insulation off and just gently pushed from the back side they would pop right back. To answer your other question its an ext cab. It has carpet.

i got a few 40 series mufflers. they are like 2-3/4 id. i cut them off a truck i scrapped. the ends are a little beat up, but if you want them i will sell them for $10 each.

SO whats new guys? My truck will be headin to the shop to get the new exhaust fabbed up in 2 weeks. School is almost done for the semister so now i can focus on cleaning the truck up and getting it purring like a kitten. current plans are... Have new Exhaust Manifold Studs Put In (snapped like 3 when pulling the Y pipe)
Have 2001 Extreme Y Pipe Installed, Magnaflow Spun Alum. 3" High Flow Cat, Spintech Sportsman Street Muffler, 3" Center In, Dual 2.5" out Dumping right under the roll pan (tips to be figured out later). SS Mirrors, New Door Pannels (possibly swap the whole interior for the Charcole since my light grey sucks) and find some bucket seats and a console for it. On top of that i need to get a bumper and then she should be road worthy. So pumped i got her going again, its been 3 years in oct since she has been on the streets!

got laid off from my job (the second one/time in a year)....so i've had plenty of free time to kick ass on my truck. got my 90 ranger running again today. need to get two new valves before i can drive it though.

rock... my 98 i would like a shit load of dents pulled outa the bed and have it resprayed... i have a 95 bed with semi decent bedsides... any idea what i would be looking at? i could drop the truck and the extra bed off or just both beds if you dont have the room. im not looking for show quality im just looking for something way cleaner than i have.

So you want both fixed and sprayed? If you can get pictures, that would be sweet, or if you want me to come check them out beforehand, i can do that too.

The only problem i have with painting is that i don't have a garage or anything to do it in, so i have to do it in a makeshift booth outside.

Price just depends on color really...bodywork wise, i just charge what i think is fair. Usually i don't even know what to charge, i'll just see what they want to spend and work with that.

Yeah hawk i have a 1998 Onyx Black reg cab fleetside s10... the driverside bed could prolly be saved, about 5-6 softball dents on the side and looks like my bro backed into something on the rear corner. The pass side, well its been hit atleast twice, i was driving in the snow and it did a 180 into a fence pole, had that damage fixed (turns out they used over 1/2" of filler) then a few years back i got hit by a car in the same spot. The panel is really pushed in. I bought mike's (pack of q tips) old 95 bed which has a few small dings but the floor was cut for bags and the supports are busted. what im trying to do is make 1 good bed out of what i have. as for paint, hmm im not going for show quality but for now if i can get all the body work done and ready to spray then maybe i will get some more done on the truck. i want to swap to smooth handles, shave the gate handle and also the antenna. i also be getting a cowl hood and some ss mirrors so i may end up having the whole truck repainted. leominster is about 30 min from me and i have a car dolly and a trailer to haul the other bed. here is some pics of both beds i have. let me know what you think.

shit send the red bed my way we will do a full sheet metal floor and sides make that look sick! the dent in the roll pan is no big deal and the bottoms of that bed is no issue.
