yeah the ice races are about 1 mile from my parents aka where my truck is being stored built and wrecked! i was supposed to race this year but i got into a lil financial jam so no racin this year!

I have been in a little financial jam for about three years now. I miss racing so much, i havent raced at monadnock for two and a half years.

Got my cluster in today, i popped it in on my lunchbreak. I love having a tach cluster. Definatly worth the $75. Now i gotta figure out how to change the mileage so that its right, the cluster i got has 177,000 i have 225,000. I might tear apart my old cluster and see if i can do it on that one before i attempt it on the new one.

i dont think you can do it! maybe have chevy do it for you! but as far as i know they are tamper proof so that you can not roll them back! its a fedral offense i believe to do this its considered fraud. but they may cut you a break seeing that you are rolling it to the correct mileage

Im not rolling it back, im adding mileage to it, im bringing it from 177k to the correct 225k. As far as getting the mileage changed, i work at a dealership and i would have to send it out and it would cost me around 150$. There has to be a way to change it. im thinking of just getting the pinout for the connector to the cluster and finding the ground and the speedo voltage wire and applying the correct voltage to the cluster to let it think its going 100 mph or so to make the odometer move till it hits the right mileage.

I might know some of you guys who race at or know people who race at Monadnock. My friend Jared races there. He is # 75 in super stock. Anyways we should all meet up and grab some dinner or have a few beers.

I would love to meet up somewhere. It would be cool. As far as the racetrack goes, i used to race in the enduros. my number was 01. I dont have the money for it anymore. my father used to race mini stock, then he moved up to strictly stock. Now he has a modified. His name is Rich Fournier. He races the orange #20. I know a bunch of other people up there, but my dad is the only person i really know.

I was thinking about racing up at twin state in claremont. i like the track better and they let you run trucks up there. plus if i run up there with a truck i can run against my pops when he gets his truck done. hes building a 2nd gen 2.2l 5spd.

I did nothing productive... Lol jk got the brakes all mounted, this weekends a wash, next weekend im doing an alighment and gettin the front suspension all back together 100% And hopefully dropping the cab down back onto the frame. And yes guys the rust will be removed before she hits the concrete.

Im no good at body work, i tried some on the K5 it didnt turn out too good. I gotta find someone to do the cab corner on it. The problem is that i have no money. Hopefully its not too expensive. Anyone know a good place to get it done?

So i worked on the truck... now the steering linkage isnt fiting correctly... Tierods seem too long... alot of issues that i gotta figure out. jake i ended up gettin those bolts local... can you get me a price on a full chrome front bumper... i really want one and they aftermarket ones are real cheap but i herd they rust. so a 98+ full chrome bumper (no holes) and i guess a black airdam.

ZQ8 is a suspension code so i cant really help you with that. If you are talking about the wheels in the pic on your sig they are N96. The center caps with the bowtie are 9593760. The GMC center caps are 9593761. and the black lugnut caps are 15661036. You need the lugnuts with the outside threads 10028615. Hope that works for you.
